We’ve always wanted a boy first… well, at least I have… I’m not sure if my husband had a preference.
I just always wanted a big brother… I love the idea of it.
However; they make the CUTEST clothes for little girls… and I think it would be easier to have a good relationship with a son-in-law than a daughter-in-law…
Either way, we would have been happy (and a little disappointed we were missing out on the other!)
We already know what were having though! You’ll just have to wait and see!
I am coming to the end of my Second Trimester (24 weeks.)
I do not feel well at all (unfortunately.) My back has been hurting for months. It’s more than just hurting… after walking or moving for a while, I’m completely disabled. If I sit down for even a moment, I can’t get back up without my husband lifting me. Just laying down at the end of the night is painful.
I’ve also developed pregnancy induced carpel tunnel. I’m sleeping in a brace to try to relieve the swelling over night, and some days are better than others. But, it makes it very difficult to do anything. I have freelance computer work I should be doing, but it’s painful. All I did today was sleep the floor and my hands, wrists and fingers are swollen and, in my right arm, the pain radiates all the way up to my elbow.
I’ve also started having tummy problems and frequent heartburn again ;( …
With all that, and just generally feeling exhausted at all times, it’s making it really hard to get anything done.
I feel majorly worthless. :/
Also; my left eye will not stop twitching today
Challenges faced adjusting to baby?
Humm. This is a difficult one.
While I’ve had lots of challenges adjusting to pregnancy, I’ve had no problems adjusting to baby.
I’ve wanted to be a mother since doctors told me I might not be able to have children 10 years ago… so this has been something I’ve been ready for… for quite some time!
We need to get the nursery ready… I think that will be a challenge.
Also, adjusting the pets to the baby when it arrives. :)
